Writing for an advertising agency means you’ll be tasked with exciting and challenging opportunities. Fulltime Copywriter Job Description:
- Develop copy that is strategic, creative, and effective for a variety of projects: advertising campaigns, collateral materials, brand language, websites, blogs, social media, and more
- Brainstorm and collaborate with the creative team to develop award-winning concepts
- Write long and short form copy, creating impactful, unique, and memorable headlines and body copy
- Responsible for the creation, copywriting, and editing of social media content for our clients
- Ensure the copy is on brand with the client’s existing materials
- Establish tone, positioning lines, and key messages for new brands
- Review and refine existing copy
- Make revisions based on agency or client feedback
- Edit and proof materials flawlessly
- Conduct research on the client’s industry, competitors, and target audience
- Present work internally and externally
- Meet deadlines and stick to budgets every time
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with all teams at all times, working closely with the creative director and designers
- Seamlessly adapt to AM/FM’s internal processes and provide insights into any possible efficiencies we could revise to make them stronger
- Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail in all facets of the job, from proofreading to partnering with production, ensuring every detail is considered, double-checked, triple-checked and approved internally before releasing work
- Interpret creative briefs and act upon client feedback
- Utilize keywords to improve SEO on a variety of digital projects
Copywriter Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong strategic marketing sensibilities
- Ability to express creative ideas with maximum brevity
- Agency experience is not required but would be beneficial
- High attention to detail
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Adaptable to new opportunities and challenges
- Likes to have fun and brings a great attitude to the team environment
- Ability to take feedback with openness and grace
